John Gormley thinks Harper is the WYSIWYG Prime Minister.

On Monday, failed-conservative-politician-turned-radical-rightwing-talkshow-host John Gormley claimed that Stephen Harper's polling numbers might be largely attributable to Harper being a "what you see is what you get" kind of politician.

Yes, you read that right.

...The same Stephen Harper who wouldn't publicly release his financial plan prior to to the last election.

...The same Stephen Harper that's had one of the most closed, guarded, and carefully managed relationships with the media in a long time.

...The same Stephen Harper who insisted over and over and over again prior to the last election that his government would not run a deficit, and whose financial predictions could just as easily have been the product of a round of darts while blindfolded.

...The same Stephen Harper that's been engaging in historical revisionism with respect to Mulroney's Conservative credentials.

...The same Stephen Harper whose radical views about Canadian universal healthcare have mysteriously vanished into the Reform Party memory hole.

...The same Stephen Harper that's been widely criticized for his inconsistent commitment to human rights and handling of affairs involving Canadians in difficulty overseas.

...The sweater-vest Stephen Harper.

WYSIWYG? To paraphrase Barney Frank... John, on what planet do you spend most of your time?
