Libertarians and "Deathers" find common ground.

Once again, the Faustian alliance between U.S. classic liberals and the radical right rears its ugly head.

Not putting patients under the knife for surgeries that they're highly unlikely to survive isn't "euthanasia" by any up-is-down redefining of the term, and a system that encourages doing so for profit is not only bound to foster lower life-expectancies, it also encourages immoral exploitation of highly emotionally charged decisions.

I guess when one routinely wraps their ideology in the flag and "freedom", that sort of thing might come as second nature.
