Rhetoric of Assholery, Vol 4

Appealing to repetition, non-sequiturs, well-poisoning, last word whoring... "Oh. My. Lord." ;)

It really is too bad for you that this is a much more accurate portrayal of those events.

...And, by the same token, only you would think that an exchange of cherry-picked blog posts intentionally designed to give you an unfair advantage would be revelatory of anything.

Patrick, "and by the same token, only you would think that a biased google search intentionally designed to give you an unfair advantage would be revelatory of anything"
My god you just love giving others quotations that can be used against you--except, well, truthfully.
"For the most part, the blogosphere as a whole thinks Patrick Ross is a dishonest hack"
C'mon--where's the ROTFL, HAHAHAHAHAHA, the ad hominems, the non-sequiturs... those demonstrate such a respect for honest discourse... oh wait, no.

Oh. My. Dear. Lord.

Same old Sparky. Same old fantasy world he's living in.

There was nothing at all unfair about that Google search, Sparky, and you know it. You're still just crying because the best evidence lined up in support of my claim, and against yours.

285 to 15. I win. You lose.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the gift that keeps on giving and the lack of self-awareness that makes it all possible.

Thanks, Pat, for dropping by and providing (as is so often the case) further illustration of my point. And since your replies in this very thread duplicate what was portrayed in the above video, I've no problem with leaving readers to reach their own conclusions regarding accuracy without further comment. I'm guessing that's probably not going to be the case for some.

Patrick Ross said...

See, Audrey, this is what makes the video utterly hilarious.

When someone provides stronger evidence, by a stronger standard of evidence, they shouldn't have to repeat themselves nearly 50 times for that to sink into anyone's thick skull.

Except, apparently, for your thick skull.

You said that there would be one blog post that marked Ted Kennedy's passing disrespectfully for every post that marked it respectfully.

So I generated a sample of blog posts to test your theory (seeing as how you declined to offer anything other than cherry-picked blog posts to support your claim) and what was the result, Audrey?

Was there one disresepctful post for every respectful post?

98 (respectful) to two in the first hundred counts alone.

But that wasn't enough for Audrey to clue in. Not by a long shot. So I kept counting, and found another six in the next hundred.

Still, Audrey couldn't admit what the evidence was saying. So I kept counting, and found another seven in the next hundred.

Which brought us to a grand total of 15 disrespectful blog posts in a sample of 300 blogs.

15 out of 300 isn't a one-for-one ratio, Audrey. Only you would refuse to admit that. Only you.

Face it, Audrey. You were wrong, wrong, wrong.

Pouting about that changes nothing. Whining about the fact that someone would continually remind you of that tally to your face changes nothing.

You were wrong. Again. Get over it, grow up, and move on.

Sparky said...

Wow! Patrick... That's just... I'm moved by your passion!
"You were wrong. Again. Get over it, grow up, and move on."
So we can expect the same when it comes to triangles, the non-deficit, the non-links, and your latest hit--"the whole of the blogosphere was respectful to Kennedy" (and that's a trifecta of Patrick being wrong--he was wrong about his 'unbiased' google list (which, as usual, he continues to flaunt), he was wrong about cc's 'disrespectful blog' and somewhere in that discussion he accused me of lying--which he never proved.)
No matter how many times he accuses others of being wrong (and is adamant that they correct their record to boot), Patrick has yet to admit how wrong he was (and still is) or correct his record.
"Gall" is too kind--We once again attach 'arrogant stupididty' to the wonder that is Patrick.

Patrick Ross said...

Sparkles, Sparkles, Sparkles.

As it pertains to Ted Kennedy, why would I say I'm wrong about something about which I was so clearly right?

You really are just living in a fantasy world.

285 to 15, Sparky. I win.

Sparky said...

Audrey titled her posts regarding Patricks 'claims' 'detachment from reality and delusions of grandeur' and 'rhetoric of assholery'...
Apropos, as now everyone else reading this can see.
Keep flogging, Patrick. You might yet get something out of that dead horse.

Patrick Ross said...

Oh, Sparkles.

It's actually kind of hilarious that you, of all people, would say that.

285 to 15, Sparkles. Eat it.

Sparky said...

"Eat it"?
Wow. You sure put me in my place with that insightful bit of discourse, Patrick
I'll quote from Audrey again--
"Appealing to repetition, non-sequiturs, well-poisoning, last word whoring... "
Yeah, it sucks for you that there are others 'out there' that will continue to point out the truth when you spout your lies
285 to 15--based on a known biased google search.
Patrick Ross, the man that thinks 70 percent is 'for the most part, the whole of the blogosphere'...
Patrick Ross, the man that thinks that octagons are triangles...
Patrick Ross, the man that thinks that posted, screen-capped, and documented links on someone's blog aren't really there...
Patrick Ross, the man that stated adamantly that we're not in a deficit right now...
Patrick Ross, the man that thinks that he's ever so superior to everyone else based only on the fact that he always gets the last word (as Audrey stated--"last word whoring").
And here he comes now to make that point (as predictable as ever)--

Patrick Ross said...

Sparkles, Sparkles, Sparkles.

Still hilariously fixated on the past. You are truly, truly ill.

Worse yet, you're vicariously ill -- still trying to relive the hollow "triumphs" of others because you can't manage your own.

285 to 15, Sparkles, according to a non-biased Google search.

285 to 15. I win. Move on.

Sparky said...

Oh I'm confident that I can manage my own
Since you lied about me lying--point me
Since you lied about your 'unbiased google search'--point me
Since you continue to lie about your google search, even after it was demonstrated to be biased--point me
Since you still failed at addressing Audreys blog honestly, which, everytime you continue to post not addressing it honestly, proves that point--point me
And more important, points for the truth--which, as demonstrated throughout this whole ordeal, you thoroughly and completely ignore so you can eek out a 'win'.
Moreover, you call them 'hollow victories'. The rest of us call them the systemic proofs that show you just talk out of your ass. Your very own blog title reinforces that. How is that non-deficit workig out for ya, anyway? I note that you're not basking in your 'rightness'. Oh right--you can't 'cause, well, you aren't (again).
Go ahead and call every time you're shown to be wrong 'hollow victories'. We'll just add this latest idiocy of yours to the list.
"285 to 15". Thus sayeth Patrick, flogging his dead horse over and over and over again.
Please flog it again, Patrick. Be as predictable as ever.

Patrick Ross said...

Sparkles, Sparkles, Sparkles.

285 to 15. I win.

Sparky said...

Patrick Ross--hacktacular to the end.

Patrick Ross said...

Sparkles -- ever-so desperate for that elusive last word.

285 to 15. I win.

Sparky said...

"I win"--only in your world, Patrick. The rest of us see that you're the one looking desperate here.
Flogging your very biased numbers so you can eek out a 'win'.
You keep right on going, Triangle Man, or Non-Deficit Man, or "70 percent is the whole of the internet" Man or the latest addition to your list of wrongness-- "M@ is CC" Man.
A few words of advice--When you've been proven wrong this much, the least you could do is to check the name of the blogger who posted a blog before you go shooting off your mouth. Can you get anything right?
Most people with a functioning brain stem, after proven to be this wrong on just about everything, would have shut up by now. Not Patrick--here he comes now to show us how he's not 'ever so desperate for that elusive last word'--

Sparky said...

Wow! Maybe you can teach a donkey...

Patrick Ross said...

ROTFL

Jesus, Sparkles. Waiting three days?

That's pretty pitiful, even for you.

285 to 15. I win. You know it.

Sparky said...

And then Patrick comes along to show us he's an ass.
Waiting? Don't flatter yourself, Patrick. You're lurking here, waiting to pounce and flaunt your lies over and over again. 'cause in your world if you say them enuf times, they might become true.
Keep right on posting 'em, Triangle Man.

Patrick Ross said...

And then Sparkles swings by again to protest too fucking much.

You waited three days after my last response to swing by here and try to get the last word -- just like I knew you would.

People as pathetic as yourself tend to be predictable.

Sparky said...

It's called 'the weekend', jackass. You may want to step back from the CPU every once in a while and go outside to see the real world.
Protest? Yeah, like pointing out the truth in light of your lies is something I should be ashamed of.
Predictability is the guy who flogs his own biased points over and over again, even after those very same points have been proven to be lies.
Predictability is the guy who posts biased stats dozens of times.
Predictability? ROTFL and HAHAHAHAHAHA as seen on various blogs through the years...
Accusing other of predictability? Yeah, you're the one that should be pointing out the speck on other people's eyes right now.
You're a sore loser, Patrick. You never admitted you were wrong. You continually perpetuate your lies in order to, what? make them true? Well, in the real world, octagons are octagons, we're living in a deficit right now, and your 'the whole of the blogosphere' was only 70-80 percent based on your very own criteria. Those are the facts that you keep trying to deny.
You keep right on going, Patrick.
"Trying to get the last word"? That's your game. I'm just here to keep pointing out the truth that you so obviously want to ignore.

Patrick Ross said...

No, Sparky, lying is something you should be ashamed of.

But, as we've seen to date, you really aren't.

Apparently aren't ashamed of slinking back into a lost argument three days later to try to get the last word.

Pathetic.

Sparky said...

Wow, is there anything you won't get your back up about, Patrick? Besides, y'know, the truth? I'm sorry I went to the cottage last weekend, Patrick. Had I known that you were waiting for me to point out your lies again, I would have stayed home and done so.
Lost arguement? Hardly. Your biased blog search was just the latest in a series of iterations proving you're a spectacular hack.
You lost. Yet you are too stuborn to apologize and move on. Your premise was flawed from the beginning as shown by your very own criteria. Your point was weak, and your facts already disproven. "For the most part"? Your gall is more and more apparent by every consecutive post. Everytime you trot out your dead horse, you just prove it more.
But then again, you've never felt shame for your wrongness. And this just adds to the list.

Patrick Ross said...

Sparkles, Sparkles, Sparkles.

You just won't tell the truth, will you? You will literally never tell the truth!

285 to 15, Sparkles. I win. You lose. Loser.

Sparky said...

Keep lying Patrick.
Keep flogging those disproven numbers!
Only in your world do your lies mean anything.
Ouch--calling me a loser! Wow, you got me where it hurts!
Oh right--only in your world again.
Disingenuous hack.
And since now you've taken onus to my not responding to your factless comments over the weekend, you've truly jumped the shark.
Waste of oxygen, indeed.
