Awwww... Canadian Cynic's got a provocateur!

The moral bankruptcy of provocateurism: For when you share more in common with the Sûreté du Québec than the mere machiavellian denial of geometric reality!

The damage-control going on at the aptly named "Nexus of Assholery" is priceless reading for those familiar with "Thunderbolt Ross'" online antics.

Patsy isn't a "provocateur." He's a minor irritant, like a fruitfly in the kitchen.

Smile and wave, and then pass on.

Just pointing and laughing on the way. ;)

Now, John. Aren't you the guy who just makes shit up when it suits his purposes?

I'd say you're overrated, but it seems to me that you just figured out how to find a large audience of little value.

Kind of like what Audrey's trying to accomplish.

The individual inundated with a lack of self awareness said, "Aren't you the guy who just makes shit up when it suits his purposes?" in the very thread that showed that he just made shit up??
Wow, unintended irony as thick as Patrick's head.
"I'd say you're overrated, but it seems to me that you just figured out how to find a large audience of little value" coming from a man who hasn't figured out how to get an audience beyond mahmood (speaking of 'little value') unless he takes pot-shots at cc 'and his ilk'.
My god, do you ever think before you type, Patrick??

Sparkles, Sparkles, Spakles.

There's a massive difference between say, posing as an individual of inferior intellectual calibre for the purpose of subterfuge and fabricating quotes from a political figure.

So, what you're drawing here, I think there's a term for it... what was it, again?

False equivalence? That's it, isn't it?

PatrickSparkles is (ironically) right. There is a "massive" difference between the accurate citation of a source and the fraudulent creation of a sock-puppet entity to dishonestly attempt to post words in others' mouths.

Sparky (the actual Sparky, not Pat's sock puppet) is also right (noting how he/she didn't make an equivocation, but merely pointed out the irony in the "making shit up" distraction). Patrick Ross does make shit up when it suits his purposes. He assumes false identities up to suit his purposes, he attempts to fraudulently attribute statements to others to suit his purposes, and he manufactures strawman arguments to suit his purposes.

This incident just further illustrates how Patrick Ross takes dishonesty to a level that's entirely different than a simple citation from an inaccurate source.

Look! Over there! Something shiny!
