"Our Muslim President"...

...is deliberately trying to do something bad to U.S. children because his speech co-opted the airing of Charlie Brown.

So says a Tennessee City Mayor.

LOL

Is this "co-optation" anything like Jonah Goldberg's ignorance of astrology?

So stupid.

I didn't say "co-optation". I said "co-opted" (reading comprehension FTW!) because Obama did indeed take the airtime for his own use. As for Goldberg, an ignorance of astrology is the least of his problems.

Did you have anything at all that you wished to contribute to the subject at hand?

Well Patrick finally got something right--this is stupid--
"Ok, so, this is total crap, we sit the kids down to watch ‘The Charlie Brown Christmas Special’ and our muslim president is there, what a load…..try to convince me that wasn’t done on purpose. Ask the man if he believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he will give you a 10 minute disertation (sic) about it….w…hen the answer should simply be ‘yes’….”"

Well, I scanned both the blog post you referenced, and scanned the article in question. They never so much as mention the word co-opt. That was entirely your own invention.

As for astrology -- well, a lot of people probably don't know a whole lot about how the Jovian gravity well affects their horoscope. Do you?

Oopsies.

"A lot of people probably don't know a whole lot about how the Jovian gravity well affects their horoscope. Do you?"

Yes. The Jovian gravity well has a significant effect on objects that pass through the solar system. I'd bet, however, that even more people probably don't know how that's at all relevant to the the above post.

Thanks, though, for providing yet another example of someone who has become so rabid that all they can contribute is trolling.

So, Audrey, precisely how does that affect one's horroscope? And when, exactly, did astrology become so basic and fundamental that people should be mocked for not thoroughly understanding it?
