Hospital visits now to come with extra benefit thanks to Sask Party!

Too bad it's the addition of your name and address to fundraising lists.

And it's important to remember that reason this is being done is because Mr. Wall needs to find some way to help make up for the cash that his party's fiscal irresponsibility has forced him to cut from healthcare.

....Heckofajob, Wallie!

From the linked article
Health Minister Don McMorris says he doesn't think the change is a breach of privacy, noting that people can opt out of the list and health information, such as test results, won't be released.

Sounds like negative option billing to me. Something that some cable companies tried (unsuccessfully) to do a number of years ago.

If that's the case then make it the other way around, give patients the opportunity to OPT into the list.

I completely agree, Sassy. The problem with that for the Sask. Party is that it would mean smaller lists and less fundraising revenue to fill the hole that their fiscal irresponsibility has created.
