National Review pens one of the more disgusting responses to the Tuscon terrorism.

Kathryn Jean Lopez compares women who have had abortions and the doctors that perform them to Jared Loughner, the man arrested for the Tuscon terrorist attack.

Each time I think the lack of self-awareness and distance from reality of anti-abortion advocates couldn't possibly get any more ridiculous, they always prove me wrong.

"We gave thanks to God for the brave people who kept the attack from being even bloodier."

Gee, would it not have been better if God prevent the killings entirely,... you know,... I sure the dead and their families would be even more grateful if that had happened,...

Zorpheous ,I picked up on that same line, with exactly the same response.

Did god have a quota that day or did he deliberately target those who were killed or wounded or was he just having a little sport to break up the monotony of his day.

I don't know if that's supposed to be one of these "mysterious ways" things, or some kind of disgusting "we all deserve terrible punishments, but some thankfully by grace are saved" aspect of original sin.
