Pallin' around with Nazis.

Crooks and Liars has the video of Arizona's new Senate president Russel Pearce chumming it up with real live, in-the-flesh-today Neo-Nazis.

Note both the difference between merely being acquaintances with someone and the kind of support shown in the video. Note also the difference between someone who engaged in violent activism decades before even being met and someone who is still currently a member of a white supremacist movement.

I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin and the rest of the American gaggle of right wing clowns that still to this day make trips to their fainting couches while gasping the name Bill Ayers to show any sort of consistency, let alone exponentially appropriate response. It was transparently faux outrage from the very start, and the fact that some (like the aforementioned) have dragged it on for so long just illustrates how dishonest they're willing to get to advance their political agenda.

Bonus snark: Never one to let a Rush Limbaugh talking-point go to waste, SDA's Kate McMillan and her flock has also been part of the "Bill Ayers gives us the vapours" brigade. I think we all know what's likely to end up on her blog about actual associations with actual terrorists/Nazis.
