Canadian government falls.

In an ironically symbolic follow-up, Harper makes an announcement, takes some shots at those who disagree with him, and then runs away, refusing to take questions from the press.

Next up: the Conservative Party's attempt to frame this election as something other than their inability to maintain the confidence of the parliament that Canadians elected not that long ago. No, it's going to be the opposition parties' fault for not continuing to give unqualified and unending support. Because that's what Responsible Governance is: not maintaining the confidence of the parliament Canadians have given u charge of, but demanding both bow to the will of a party leader.

What's even more unfortunate is that a sizeable chunk of the apathetic electorate's gonna swallow that bit of politically inaccurate up-is-down dishonesty, and none of the opposition parties are in a strong enough position to call it out for what it is. Pathetic.

We must not be apathetic any longer, for if we are, then nothing will happen:

BTW, I am hereby recruiting you to help break partisan insanity. :D
